The 1991 Specialized Stumpjumper Epic. The bike that carried Ned Overend to the 1990 World Championship. Carbon fiber’s key properties are tailor made for bicycles-lighter than chromoly steel, strong and durable, stiff for rider efficiency, with maximum dampening and shock absorption. We build the Stumpjumper Epics by hand at Specialized Headquarters in Morgan Hill, California for the highest quality control. Features Shimano XT components w/racing thumb shifters, Specialized BXL-21 32 hole rims. Ground Control Extreme/s 1.95” Tires. 16.5, 18, 19, 20, 21.5. Natural carbon fiber with black fade over lugs.
