Sycamore

The 1988 Mongoose Sycamore is one of Mongoose's newest 18 speed all-terrain bicycles. It features all the latest performance equipment for precise handling and response. The heart of the Sycamore is the heliarc welded Triple Butted chromoly mainframe and chromoly bladed forks. The derailleur system is the new Shimano FD-M450 Exage Mountain featuring front and rear SIS index shifting. The new Exage Mountain rear derailleur provides quick positive gear engagement. The new Exage Mountain front derailleur features SIS indexing or friction control shifting. The Sycamore also features Shimano alloy cranks, Biopace chainrings, sealed system headset, bottom bracket and hubs as well as Araya 7X(N) 26 X 1.5 alloy rims. The Sycamore is available finished in metallic Silver Smoke or two-tone Teal Green and Grey.
