Oversized Alcoa aluminum tubing contributes significantly to the all-new 1998 Diamond Back V6's incredibly stiff yet responsive ride. Like every DBR mountain machine, the V-6 features heavy-duty components like 14-gauge stainless steel spokes and a Dia-Compe ST2 AheadSet. The V-6's VelociRaptor tires grab gobs of traction on virtually any terrain. Its Rock Shox Judy XC fork delivers over three inches of tunable travel up front, while a Helix Expert coil shock maximizes traction and control in back.
The V-6's Shimano DX pedals feature SPD technology for more secure pedating. Their wide platform design provides greater foot support than conventional clipless designs.
WTB's Momentum hub features their exclusive Grease Guard technology-a definite plus for shade tree mechanics. The added stiffness of the Momentum's 17mm alloy axle improves front-end rigidity for better suspension performance.
