The handcrafted Alcoa aluminium frame on this year's all-new 1998 Diamond Back DBR V-10 features our exclusive long-travel suspension linkage and a Stratos Helix Pro coil shock - a potent combination for bumpy, technical trail assaults. The super-rigid CNC-machined alloy triple clamps on the V-10's Manitou X-Vert R fork are engineered for high-speed stability and maximum cornerng response. Titec Hell Bent bars and mid-reach 10° rise stem put you in the attack position for heads-up hauling on every inch of the mountain.
Heavy-duty axles inside WTB's New Paradigm hubs eliminate the flex that can plague suspension performance on long travel MTBs. WTB's Grease Guard System makes bearing overhauls clean and easy.
Compression and rebound damping as well as spring preload are easily adjustable on the Helix Pro shock by Stratos. You can dial in the plushness of the V-10's active rear travel right on the trail.
