For 1995 the Cannondale MC500 has the aluminium MCX mountain frame. SR Duo Track 7005 suspension fork. Shimano MJ shifters. The MCX Junior mountain bike is not a toy; It is a down-sized high-performance machine for serious riders who are a bit shorter or younger than is typical. Crafted from large-diameter aluminium tubing, the MCX model features the same TIG-welded, heat-treated construction process as our other frames. And like our other frames, the MC500 is incredibly light, with a bare frame weight of just 3.7lbs. The MCX frame comes with our unique Killer V-style configuration for maximum stand-over clearance and strength, and is full detailed with a replaceable derailleur hanger, water bottle bosses, and durable, welded cable guides.
