2002 Haro

The Werks Series represents the absolute best Haro has to offer. Developed, and tested on the UCI World Cup and NORBA circuits the Werks Series features three full suspension cross country bikes, a super light hardtail, our DHR downhill frame and the all-purpose XCS frame. Designed for competition use and hard-core enthusiasts, the Werks Series are world class performers.

Haro pioneered the use of pure Shimano groups when it introduced the ICS (Integrated Component System) Series of bikes. Designed to provide optimum cross-country performance, the ICS Series makes absolutely no cost cutting compromises in component specifications. We've matched three pure component groups to our trademark V-Gusset frame design. The 4.0 and 5.0 now feature a new lightweight butted frame with disc tabs and integrated headsets. If you're willing to pay a little more for "Pure Guts" engineering and quality you can find it in the ICS Series.

Freeride, jumping, hucking, North Shore... whatever, call it what you want, the new Extremes can handle it. This ain't no department store pogo stick. This years Extremes have been redesigned with a lighter, stronger, and more torsionally rigid frame that now features 5" of rear travel. All three models come equipped with fat tires, double wall rims, disc brakes and long travel forks. The Extremes type A personality is best suited to fast descents, steep drop-offs and rock gardens. The new Extremes, bikes that live up to their name.

Like their paternal twins the Extremes, the Escapes aren't afraid to mix it up at high speeds on radical terrain. Differenciated from the Extremes by their bullet proof hardtail frames, the Escapes are essentially big BMX bikes with a motocross appearance package. The stiff aluminum frame enables these babies to accelerate quickly when you're out of the saddle, climb easily and turn on a dime. Like the Extremes, all three models come equipped with fat tires, double wall rims, disc brakes and long travel forks. Freeride, trail rides or dual slalom, the Escapes can handle it.

Don't mistake the V Series' low prices and great looks for reduced capabilities. With front suspension, cassette hubs and threadless headsets the V-Series bikes are capable off-road performers. Our trademark V-Gusset aluminum frame featuring two tone paint and new graphics may cause you're friends to think you spent a bundle. Psych.
