Super V 900

The 1995 Cannondale Super V 900 features a Super V full suspension frame with box section aluminium swingarm. Cannondale Headshok DD2 hydraulically-damped cartridge suspension fork with on-the-fly lockout switch. GripShift SRT 600 shifters. CODA XYZ Super Shortie bar ends. The super-fast, super-light Super V is a flat-out winner, whether its capturing World Cup victories with the Volvo/Cannondale Mountain Bike Racing Team or design and engineering awards in leading magazines. To save weight, the Super V replaces traditional mountain bike geometry with a lightweight, swaged downtime, teardrop seat mast and box-section swingarm. The beefy, oversized downtime and swingarm also dramatically boost the Super V’s stiffness, as does a flex-resistant, four-inch wide swingarm pivot. The resulting Super V frame provides all the benefits of full suspension, yet it’s in the same weight range - and far stiffer - than many top-quality, non-suspended mountain frames.
