The 1995 Cannondale M400 is our aggressive competition edition bike. Cannondale 3.8 series mountain frame with TIG-welded all-chrome-moly fork. GripShift SRT 400 shifters with shorter front rotation than 1994 SRT 500 shifters. Competition Edition setup. Our 3.8 Series mountain frame brings American-made quality and lightweight, high-performance innovation to a category cluttered with Far Eastern “cookie cutter” bikes. The TIG-welded/heat-treated 3.8 features Connondale’s trademark, oversized aluminium tubing for maximum pedaling efficiency, lightweight, wishbone-style seat stays and a quality chrome-moly fork. The 3.8 comes fully detailed with a patented, replaceable rear derailleur hangar, welded cable stops, ‘braze-on’ water bottle mounts and threaded track fittings.
